Considered the largest wetland and floodplain continental area of the planet. There are about 210,000 km2 divided among three countries of South America, where in Brazil is the larger part.
In additon to the grandeur, the Pantanal is also one of the richest ecosystems in Brazil. It Is considered by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve.
